10 Greatest Ever TV Duos

3. JD/Turk - Scrubs

If you ever need clarification on what the word bromance means, examine the relationship between JD and Turk on Scrubs. Sure, "bromance" is kind of a silly term -- after all, the female version of a bromance is just called a friendship, so why should men be ridiculed for having close relationships with other men? But in the case of JD and Turk, the term is appropriate. They are quite literally two heterosexual men in a romantic relationship. They're two doctors who met when they became roommates freshman year of college at William and Mary, and they've maintained an almost completely codependent relationship ever since. Some of the funniest gags on the show revolve around their intense feelings for each other, and the brave women who try to come between the two. Like, Turk loves his wife Carla, but if he had to choose between her and his beloved JD, he'd drop that woman like a bad habit. One almost feels that somewhere along the line they made a My Best Friend's Wedding style pact that if they were both still single at 40, they would get together.
