10 Greatest Jesse Moments In Breaking Bad

1. Finale - Felina

For all of the horrible things that have gone down in Breaking Bad, the final episode Felina gives us the best that we could have hoped for in a silver lining. Although most of the episode revolves around Walt tying up his loose ends with Gretchen, Eliot, and his family, things really aren't set in stone until he comes face to face with his former partner at Uncle Jack's place. While the idea of having a machine gun loaded in the back of his car was a stroke of genius, the real emotional gut punch comes with saving Jesse from the gunfire.

After Jesse is rescued, he rises to the floor and suffocates Todd before even acknowledging his partner. Out of all the deaths of the show, this one feels the most cathartic, as if Jesse is killing off the dark mirror image of himself. It gets even better when he sees Walter again, looking to kill him before dropping the gun to the floor. This kid isn't doing what his teacher wants anymore, and is determined to be free from the shackles of Heisenberg after undergoing his own private hell.

As he gets into the El Camino to head off, the final glance between Jesse and Walt is priceless, as Pinkman feels like he's finally free from Walt's grasp. Punching the car into gear, his final scream is one of the most invigorating parts of the series, as if he can finally start to repair his psyche. It was going to be a long road back home, but at least Jesse's heading off to somewhere better.
