10 Greatest Jesse Moments In Breaking Bad

2. Unloading on Saul - Confessions

Throughout every episode of Breaking Bad, Jesse is the one person who seems to wear his heart on his sleeve the most. As much as the drug ring is about being cold and calculated, the kid's heart is just too big to lead this kind of lifestyle for much longer. When he does decide to let his emotions loose though, you better be sure that you're not in his line of fire.

Trying to disappear off the map through Saul's elaborate scheme, Jesse is just about to leave Albuquerque when he checks his pack and realizes his ricin cigarette is gone. Immediately calling back to Walter's plan to manipulate him, Jesse goes into a rage and confronts Saul, very nearly killing him before deciding that he isn't the real target. You can really tell that this is the scene that earned Aaron Paul his Emmy for the show, almost feeling like you're watching the confession of a real person who just had his heart ripped out of his chest for the 100th time.

Although many of us would have washed our hands of this industry a long time ago, you can completely understand Jesse's boiling over, seemingly with no one on his side and just left out to dry by someone he once thought was his friend.

This also makes for one of the greatest cliffhangers in the history of the show, as Jesse storms over to Walt's house with a tank of gasoline, looking to torch the place up before cutting to black. Say what you want to about the show's pacing... but that's the proper way to end an episode.
