10 Greatest Star Wars: The Clone Wars Episodes That Changed Everything
3. The Wrong Jedi
It shouldn't be a surprise that Ahsoka Tano episodes populate a sizeable amount of this list. After all, the young padawan was designed to be the audience's surrogate in this animated epic, learning the lessons she learns and seeing the world of Star Wars with a fresh perspective. And fresh perspective is just what this season finale gives.
Captured and put on trial before the Jedi Council, having been framed for a bombing at the Jedi Temple, Ahsoka must come to terms with the reality of the Jedi's limitations. Betrayed by both her friend Barriss Offee, who framed Ahsoka for the bombings, and by the Council itself for its lack of trust in her, Ahsoka makes a difficult decision in her life: walk away.
At the time, Ahsoka's arc in The Clone Wars had ended here: walking away from the Order, and saying a final goodbye to Anakin. The moment is heart-wrenching, mainly because it was so unexpected. Anakin fought hard for her to come back to the Order, but instead she chooses to follow a different path.
It was unexpected at the time, and completely necessary for Ahsoka to complete grow as a character.
