10 Hollywood Stars Who Got Their Big Break On Embarrassing TV Shows

10. Chris Hemsworth - Guinevere Jones

Tumblr M2u6dwh2qc1qf469zo4 1280 1 If you were a preteen growing up in Canada or Australia from 2002-04, chances are you might already be familiar with the television show Guinevere Jones. It's the age old story of a typical teenage girl who realizes that she is the reincarnation of Guinevere. As in, Queen Guinevere. Wife of King Arthur, lover to Sir Lancelot, the whole nine yards. Essentially, the show is about her struggle to be her own unique person, rather than just a copy of Guinevere. Except made for kids and on a really low budget. But the show also features other figures from Arthurian legend. Merlin pops up, there's Morgana La Fay, and of course, the man himself makes an appearance: King Arthur. It shouldn't really be a surprise that even at nineteen years old, Chris Hemsworth would be your go-to chivalrous knight character. He was featured on the show for two episodes, in scenes with the original Guinevere. And while the production values were low, his flowing wigs were really something to write home about. Although it was another seven years before American audiences began to notice the Aussie heartthrob with his short but memorable role in Star Trek, he won over Australia in the long-running soap opera Home and Away about two years after this appearance.
