6. Emma Stone - In Search Of The Partridge Family
Back in the early 2000s, some brilliant (and probably unemployed at the moment) network executive thought it would be a great idea to bring back The Partridge Family. You remember, that show from the 70s that everyone loved, about the musical family that traveled around in a groovy bus? So anyway, they decided to cast the "hit new show" using a reality template -- the entire process would be carried out in a live, American Idol style production. The biggest focus was on the actors that would play the mom, Keith, Laurie, and Danny Partridge. Each of the contestants would sing and act in order to prove themselves worthy of the role, and the winners would go on to star in a Partridge Family remake. One of the actresses auditioning for the role of Laurie was a 15-year-old girl named Emily Stone. Nowadays, she goes by Emma Stone. Anyway, she won the competition, and became the new Laurie on the Partridge Family. The pilot was never picked up, so her tenure on the show only lasted one episode, but I don't think you'll hear her crying too loudly. Within two years, she got her breakout role in Superbad, when America discovered her adorable charms all over again.
