5. Simon - Misfits
Simon is a painfully shy young man who was bullied all through school, leading him to try to set a mean kid's house on fire (which is what lands him in community service in the first place). He can barely make eye contact with people, let alone talk to them. Simon desperately wants to fit in, to have friends, but he doesn't know how. That's what makes his superpower so apropos: the guy who feels like no one notices him can turn invisible. But then you meet Future!Simon, who had the collective jaws of the audience hitting the floor for about a week or so afterwards. He was still Simon, with his pathological habits of organization and single-minded intensity that verged on creepiness, but at the same time shockingly different. This Simon was confident, athletic (apparently having mastered the kickass art of parkour), and dare we say it? Actually pretty hot.
