10 Huge Doctor Who Plot Holes Everyone Overlooks

9. Where Are The Other Doctors?

Only a show as topsy-turvy as Doctor Who could retroactively create a plot hole for itself. Enter The Timeless Children.

Here, it was revealed that the Doctor was found many years ago in a distant land, as a young child with the ability to regenerate. These abilities were then grafted onto Gallifrey's native species, creating the Time Lords.

It's a nice story, but to anyone who has seen even half an episode of Classic Who, it makes less than zero sense.

Take The Name of the Doctor for instance. In an attempt to stop The Great Intelligence from meddling with the Doctor's timestream, Clara jumps into it herself, exposing herself to the past, present, and future of her travel buddy.

Except clearly not, because she doesn't see any version of the Doctor prior to William Hartnell. Where are all the pre-Hartnell Doctors hiding? Maybe they're down the sides of the couch? That's usually where missing things end up.

No, they're nowhere, because the Timeless Child reveal was incredibly stupid and has done more damage to the continuity of Doctor Who than perhaps anything else in history.

Ahem, moving on.
