10 Iconic Animated Series To Stream On Disney+

Long before the X-Men hit the big screen, there was the X-Men animated TV series of the early 90s. It arguably did a better job of adapting the comics for another medium than any other attempt.

Over five seasons, the series brought several key comic book characters and stories to TV screens while also carving its own path. It grew a fan base separate from the source material it's based on. Without a shadow of a doubt, it also contributed to the lasting popularity of several characters, including Wolverine, making many of them household names.

This exceptional series would not be on Disney+ without the Fox merger making it one of their properties. It's definitely good that it's there. Despite the 90s vibe that shines through on occasion, X-Men holds up and is always worth a watch.
