10 Incredible TV Actors Who Seem To Have Totally Disappeared

4. Peter Jurasik

Babylon 5 is my favourite sci-fi show for a number of reasons. There's the depth of the story arcs, the fantastic aliens, the great space battles, the Noble heroes, the Psi Corp and the Shadows. But most of all, it's my favourite show because of G'Kar and Londo. Unfortunately Andreas Katsulas has passed on (beyond the rim), but Peter Jurasik is still very much alive and acting. So why then does he seem to have totally disappeared? Londo Mollari was another role of a lifetime. His quest to bring glory to the Centauri Republic is the ultimate tale of the deal with the devil. It was a story of redemption (helping with G'Kar to free the enslaved Narn, eventually becoming a chief architect in a new peaceful alliance). But it was also a tragedy; his appointment as emperor comes at a terrible loss, and it was a great story arc delivered with an astonishing performance by Peter Jurasik. Observing the bombing of Narn in season two, taking the long walk to inauguration in season five €“ it's these moments that elevated the show to a new level. Since Babylon 5 ended, the actor, like any on this list, seems to have been relegated to bit parts. He had a three-episode villain role in Sliders, but that was over a decade ago. Peter Jurasik needs to return to our television screens again!
