The West Wing has the greatest cast ever. And for these incredible actors, the questions is, how do you top the characters they were given? You probably don't. That being said, the majority have taken on other notable roles...except Janel Moloney. Janel's Donna was wonderful, providing a warmth and humour to the show. She delivered some of those questions that us, the audience, often had. Donna was also a character of great depth. For me, it wasn't her getting together with Josh that capped her great story line €“ it was taking on the role of Chief Of Staff to the First Lady which showed just how far Donna had become. Janel Maloney has mostly done minor guest roles in TV shows since The West Wing ended, never having that moment to shine and take on a leading role herself. The actress might not get another role like Donna again, but she certainly deserves to have that chance to mesmerise audiences once more. Perhaps we just need to have the sequel series to The West Wing. That would solve the whole problem..
