5. Cheong-San & Gwi-Nam - All Of Us Are Dead
Netflix's recent Korean zombie series All of Us Are Dead certainly didn't leave viewers wanting for brutal or shocking deaths, regularly killing off characters totally out of nowhere and in typically brutal, over-the-top fashion.
The series' most insane death was actually a two-fer, when in the penultimate episode the half-zombie, half-human villain Gwi-nam (Yoo In-soo) faces off against the heroic Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young).
Gwi-nam is an unstoppable, Terminator-esque force of nature throughout the series, so fans were certainly anxious to see him finally get his just deserts, and that he absolutely did, albeit seemingly at the cost of Cheong-san's life also.
The pair fight on a construction site just as the military drop bombs on the area in the hope of wiping out the undead infection.
In a last ditch effort to defeat Gwi-nam, then, Cheong-san grabs him amid the fiery explosions and gives Gwi-nam a German Suplex From Hell straight down an elevator shaft.
As the pair fall through the air, they're engulfed by the flames, seemingly killing them both.
Now, there are those fans who believe that Cheong-san could've survived the explosion by using Gwi-nam's body as a shield, but considering that the flames were literally lapping at his face on the way down the shaft, it doesn't seem terribly likely, at least not without being horribly deformed.
Gwi-nam, though, seems to be 100% certified toast.
