4. The Northern Nobles

I don't think anyone can claim they didn't give a sh*t about the Red Wedding, whether they knew it was coming or not. The episode saw the deaths of Robb and Catelyn Stark, two of the few characters that seemed like they truly had plot armour. However, the Starks weren't the only ones present at the wedding.

Almost every Northern house had a member of their nobility present, and almost all died at the hands of the Freys and Boltons. Of course, it's understandable that these background deaths were completely overshadowed by the main targets of the murderous event. However, it can't be understated just how much damage the Freys and Boltons did to their reputation by killing off the family members of such a large percentage of Northern households.
