10 Massive TV Shows Nobody Is Watching

These TV shows weren't exactly cheap to make... but that still didn't guarantee an audience!

There has arguably never been a more vibrant, experimental, or simply stacked market than the one that can currently be found in the world of television.

Gone are the days of big-name actors scoffing at the thought of leading a TV series and preferring to ply their trade on the cinema screen for much of their careers. In their place is a time when anybody who is anybody is throwing their names into the silver screen hat in the hope of being the face of the next smash hit to dominate a streaming service.

And while some of these titanic shows, pumped full of cash and undoubted star power, have managed to gather a sizeable amount of momentum and often catapult both the names involved in front of and behind the camera to bold new heights, some programmes haven't been quite as fortunate... regardless of the money spent trying to replicate that success.

From seemingly can't-miss Disney offerings to potty-mouthed Peacemakers, these TV shows cost a whole lot of dough, but that still couldn't for you to sit down and watch them, though...

10. Superman & Lois

The CW hasn't exactly been light on small screen superhero adaptations over the last decade, with the network building a sizeable enough audience for its various DC properties and enjoying a boatload of success along the way. And all long-time rivals Marvel could do was sit on and dream of a sprawling TV universe to match this Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl-stuffed Arrowverse, for a significant spell.

But in more recent times, The CW hasn't been enjoying anywhere near the same level of attention and admiration as they did in the earlier years of their silver screen crossover venture, with their most recent DC entry in the form of Superman & Lois, while admittedly still highly rated, not bringing in anywhere near the same level of ratings as those earlier shows.

For reference, while that aforementioned signature trio of DC CW shows all enjoyed ratings of upwards of 3.6 million viewers on average in their first season, Superman & Lois, though visually stunning thanks to its increased budget, only managed to reel in around 1.8 million, with that number looking set to drop again throughout its recent second season too.
