10 MCU Characters Who Should Appear In Disney+'s Wakanda Series

A character who has been rumoured to be a part of Black Panther 2 and go to battle with Wakanda is Namor the Sub Mariner. The ruler of Atlantis could be better utilised in the Wakandan series than the theatrical sequel, as Atlantis could provide the series with a long standing rival (which they have been in the comics).

Seeing Namor and his Atlantean people as the villains would make for a compelling series, with the half mutant often serving as an anti-hero or villain in the comics and a rival to T'Challa, and the two nations often at odds with each other for a variety of reasons.

Namor could use the absence of T'Challa as a reason to attack Wakanda, seeing the country as weak now that they have lost both T'Chaka and T'Challa. Wakanda could also be going through an internal power struggle, with Namor viewing this as the perfect time to strike.

His introduction into the MCU could also lead to him playing a role amongst other new characters such as the X-Men or the Fantastic Four, as he has had great storylines with both teams of super powered beings in the comics.
