10 MCU Characters Who Should Appear In Disney+'s Wakanda Series

Another ruler of a rival nation that could be used as a series antagonist is also one of the greatest villains in Marvel history. Doctor Doom was acquired during the Disney/20th Century Fox deal, meaning that the character could potentially be used in the Wakanda series.

The ruler of Latveria has been a constant thorn in the side of both the Fantastic Four and the Avengers in the comics, however Victor von Doom has not had a great live action adaptation to date. This could be rectified in the MCU, with the Wakanda series providing Marvel with the perfect introduction for Doctor Doom. Marvel could introduce Doom by utilising an aspect of his comic book character that has yet to be explored in the films.

This aspect of Doom's character would be his role as ruler of Latveria, the country he took over and turned from a third world country into a thriving first world country. His role as dictator of Latveria could be the key to seeing him appear in the Wakanda series as his country could come into conflict with Wakanda. This feud could even lead to appearances from the Fantastic Four, who have also had some comic book storylines alongside the Black Panther.
