10 Incredible Ways The Simpsons & Family Guy Could Cross Over

10. They Share The Same Space, But In Different Dimensions

After years of disparate existence, the towns of Springfield and Quahog are shown to inhabit the exact same space only in different dimensions. The two towns are a compete analogue match for each other, down to characters, buildings and geography. Parallel characters such as Peter and Homer, Lois and Marge and Stewie and Maggie, are acknowledged as alternative-dimensional versions of the other. The link between the dimensions is revealed as being each family€™s beloved TV set. A parallel scene takes place showing Homer and Peter watching each other on TV, gradually they each become angered by the other guy ripping them off. Whilst listening to Peter rant Lois makes a pre-emptive call to the TV repair man. Her actions prove prophetic as in a synchronised moment of rage both Peter and Homer smash their TV sets. Instead of just breaking the screen though, Homer and Peter's dual actions causes a rip to form in the space-time continuum, and the TV becomes a portal between the two inter-dimensional towns. After the Simpsons pay a visit to Quahog both families go on a tour of Springfield. Everything is going swimmingly until, on a joint family exhibition to Mount Springfield, Lisa casually points out all the TV aerials in the town. This triggers Brian's memory and he recalls hearing Lois on the phone to the TV repair man. He realises if they don't make it back to the Simpson TV set quick, the TV repairman might arrive in Quahog and their route back to their own dimension may be closed forever.
