9. The Same Actors Were Used For Multiple Alien Roles
Babylon 5 was never short on imagination. From the Minbari to the Vorlons to the Drazi, aliens of various appearances were a constant presence on the space station. However, the many variations in alien appearance posed something of a problem in production.
Because of the different prothestics and makeup required for the different alien races, many actors had difficulties acting and speaking through such extensive makeup. There were some, however, who had no problems whatsoever, and so they were often called upon for a variety of alien roles. One of the most notable of the recurring actors was Wayne Alexander, who played everything from the engimatic Lorien to a sinister Drakh.
