10 More Spider-Man TV Shows That Could Join Silk On Amazon Prime
6. Cardiac
Sony's decision to develop a movie revolving around a villain like Kraven the Hunter is hard to understand, especially when a character like that is best off being pitted directly against Spider-Man. A much better choice for a solo outing - particularly on the small screen - is Eli Wirtham, a.k.a. Cardiac.
His story is a powerful one because he vowed to help people after his younger brother died of a rare disease. Building a medical empire, he eventually bought the company that could have cured his brother, but learned that they decided not to release that after putting profit before people. Outraged, he made another vow: to never left an injustice like that happen ever again.
Replacing his own heart with an artificial one capable of general vast amounts of electrical power, Eli created a staff to focus those energies into a concussive blast. Throw in a powerful costume which increases his strength and agility, and Cardiac became a powerful new superhero.
A show like this could touch on a huge number of timely issues affecting the world today, while his lack of serious links to Spider-Man make Cardiac the perfect candidate for his own TV series.
