10 More TV Shows Marvel Must Make

7. Paladin

paladinWhat Is It? Paladin, who claims that€™s his real name, is a mercenary. He€™ll seemingly work for anyone if the price is right, both hero and villain, which frequently brings him into conflict with other characters across the Marvel Universe. Despite his mercenary claims, however, Paladin does have a sense of honor and has been known to turn against his employers if he feels they€™re on the wrong side of a conflict. Although he does use lethal force, he commonly employs a stun gun that only he can operate, and he€™s a skilled actor, detective, and marksman. He€™s also something of a womanizer, having flirted with a number of heroines in the Marvel Universe. How To Do It Right? Imagine James Bond retiring from MI-6 and becoming a free agent€”that€™s Paladin. You don€™t even need to incorporate his costume from the comics into the show. Paladin could be all about him going on missions without that suit (especially if he€™s involved in a lot of espionage ops). While Paladin doesn€™t have any known real name, he frequently goes by the alias Paul Denning (a play on Paladin), and this could be made his name in the series. Or he could just go by a different name every episode. With a character like Paladin, he has no supporting cast because he€™s never had his own series. So this is one character that you could take in almost any direction you wanted to.
