It's hard to tell what's got people more upset - the death of the Queen, or the news that Henry Cavill is leaving The Witcher.

Yeah, Queen Elizabeth served the UK as its leader for 70 years, but did she have pecs like that? Nuh-uh!

Ever since Cavill first popped in those Geralt contact lenses, he's completely reinvented himself as a sword-swinging, ass-kicking monster hunter, and his portrayal of Geralt of Rivia is one of the best parts of a great show. Thankfully, fans won't have to say goodbye to him just yet, as he's got one more season as the character to go.

The Witcher will return for its third season at some point in 2023. It's already been announced for a fourth season, which is when Cavill will say his goodbyes.

Fans of the show will be eager to spend as much time as possible with the original Geralt, before the White Wolf gets a new face. Who's picking up after Cavill? Liam Hemsworth, you say?

Yeah, he's the one people like a lot less than Chris.
