For six hours across five weeks, Bodyguard completely took over the UK. The series, which stars Keeley Hawes as a controversial MP and Richard Madden as the bodyguard assigned to protect her, smashed viewing records, with 17.1m people watching the finale - a new high for a drama since the current records started in 2002.

With that much hype, Bodyguard then launched on Netflix last month, and has clearly been gobbled up by U.S fans who've been desperate for it to cross the Atlantic. On top of the huge amount of buzz surrounding the series, there's also the fact that it has only six episodes to get through working in its favour, making it a much easier proposition for a binge.

Then there's the show itself. Not only is it great, but it's designed to make you want to keep on watching more; it's the kind of series that generates fan series and keeps you guessing right until the very last moments, meaning you'll want to fly through it just to find out what happens, while still being gripped by the journey.
