10 Most Binged Horror TV Shows Of All Time
9. Midnight Mass
Midnight Mass (in case you're not already aware) is a Netflix miniseries from the mind of Mike Flanagan, the creator of The Haunting of Hill House - more on that one later, *wink*.
The series is a profound, unique and well-written experience that acts as a stellar example of how to earn your scares. It really takes its time, not overindulging in big frights and instead building tension, anxiety and fear through solid dialogue and atmosphere. Of course, there are still plenty of massively spooky moments, so horror nuts won't be thirsting here.
Although it wasn't as monumental as Flannagan's other horror series, this show pulled in great numbers and had viewers bursting through it in no time.
Of course, a real helping hand for this series is that it's limited. Overfamiliarity breeds contempt, so the fact that you can dip your toes in and out of this programme in a tasty seven episodes is a pretty strong incentive to do so.
You can watch this miniseries in only a sitting or two, making for a very compact horror TV experience.
