There's no question about it really, Rick has dished out some horrific damage to many people who have crossed him.

Stabbing his best friend Shane, driving a machete into the head of Tomas in the prison, and even killing a lot of Saviors while they slept, Rick had proved that he was the most dangerous player in the game. Despite these tendencies, however, he didn't kill Negan, at the request of his deceased son. The plan was to lock him up in a cell for the remainder of his life so he could see the beautiful world the Alexandrians would create with other communities, which is arguably worse than killing him.

By far his most savage moment was when he, Carl, Michonne, and Daryl are attacked by a group known as the Claimers. Rick got into a fight with their leader, Joe, and in a moment of insanity, he sunk his teeth into Joe's neck, and ripped out his throat.

He then stormed over to the other attacker who was tormenting his son, and pulled a knife from his stomach to his neck. Rick never looked this dangerous before, but the circumstances made it understandable.
