10 Most Brutal TV Weapons

9. Nitroglycerin - Westworld

Negan Lucille THe Walking Dead
HBO

One of Delos Destinations Inc.'s primary focuses in the Westworld park is to keep guests safe. It's strange, then, that the main explosive used in the park is the highly volatile, unstable nitroglycerin.

Sure, it great if you're a shareholder in the park and therefore have access to exploding cigars for prison breakouts. But as soon as the hosts begin their uprising in season two, they're keen to use the substance for themselves. I see a lawsuit on their hands.

Dolores uses the liquid to significant effect when Delos' security forces attempt to kill the hosts situated in Fort Forlorn Hope. Knowing their weapons aren't equipped to dealing with Delos' automatic weapons, Dolores uses the Confederatos as bait to draw security personnel in, before blowing up the buried nitro below them.

Craddock, a Confederato major, manages to get away from the battle unscathed, but not before the Man in Black gives him a taste of his own medicine by forcing the liquid down his throat and blowing him up via gunshot to the gut. It does serve him right for forcing a woman to walk with a brimming shot glass full of nitro across a rainy street.
