8. Married With Children
Married With Children is one of the greatest classics in modern television, it remains as one of the most popular and funny sitcoms in recent years. But it wasnt always like this, several episodes had to be censored because of some of the jokes and situations and, at the time, it was the crudest show on the air. Enter Terry Rakolta, a normal housewife with aspirations of greatness and very little sense of humor. In 1989 she led a boycott against the show after the episode Her cups Runneth Over offended her. She started sending several letters to advertisers and the producers, and in a very surprising twist, she won. Thats right, a woman who disliked an episode of the show, who appeared in several talk shows and manifestations stating how evil and offensive the show was (you know, the type of person we like to make fun of nowadays) actually won. The episode Ill see you in court had to be canceled from airing and we wouldnt see the episode until 2002, 13 years after the original air date, and even then it was a cut version. Sad situation, isnt it?
