10 Most Emotional Brooklyn Nine-Nine Moments

Amy and Jake's romance evolves so naturally throughout the show. It does have a fair few sitcom clichés along the way but feels completely unique and fresh despite it. It was clear that their wedding would need to be memorable, and the show sure did deliver on that.

The entire episode is a stressful experience, as a bomb threat gets called in, and their marriage is in jeopardy. Seeing the odds stacked against the couple hurts, but in the end, Boyle surprises them with a beautiful ceremony.

As if the reveal of the beautiful venue wasn't enough, you're then given a moving speech from Holt, who is officiating the marriage. If you can listen to Holt telling Jake and Amy that he loves them and vice-versa without feeling something, then you're just as emotionless as the bomb squad robot who delivers their rings.

Then, of course, there are the vows themselves, which hit home, and have some decent gags as well. The whole scene is handled to perfection, and it's simply rewarding to see these characters finally get hitched.
