10 Most Emotional Moments In It's A Sin
7. Gloria's Family Burn His Things
Following on from the last point, Gloria soon dies after travelling back to his family in Scotland.
Because of the limited knowledge of AIDS at the time and the way it was transmitted, it was unknown as to how the disease was spread. So it makes for one of the most haunting moments in the show, when we see Gloria's family lighting a bonfire in their garden shortly after his death, burning all of his things and watching on as every item they could have remembered Gloria by is destroyed.
It's traumatic and frightening as the memory of this poor man is practically wiped from the face of the earth and highlights yet another way AIDS could be so cruel.
