10 Most Emotional Moments In It's A Sin

5. Colin Dies

It's A Sin
Channel 4

If you've seen the show, you knew this one was coming next.

It's a real testament to the acting of newcomer Callum Scott-Howells in just how much pain we feel at Colin's passing towards the end of episode three. Arguably the most likable character in the series, watching the light go out in this poor man's eyes is earth-shattering for both his friends and those watching.

It's a very quiet moment in the show after the nail-biting drama of the episode, but everything slows right down in this moment so we can feel the impact. As Colin dies in his hospital bed, it's a horribly silent scene and we almost can't believe it's actually happened. That followed by the trauma from his mother just goes to show the brutal realism of what so many families went through in that time period.
