9. Ogden Wernstrom
It almost became a catchphrase of the Professor’s… Werrrrrnstrom!
At just 120 years old, Ogden Wernstrom was one of the most exciting up-and-comers in the New New York science scene, and with that title came exactly the kind of arrogance you’d expect from someone with such a brilliant mind.
However, none of that brainpower went towards making him a nice person, or even a decent person. There were times when he was downright evil!
When it came to trying to save the city from a ball of garbage, Wernstrom negotiated himself a tenure deal, and was then happy to see NNY squashed. No one else mattered once he was looked after. He swore revenge on Professor Farnsworth as a student, a grudge that he kept for 100 years, he stole Mom from Hubert, though realistically this may have been doing him a favour, and he simply believed himself to be superior in every way.
He did occasionally find himself working together with Hubert rather than against him, but that wasn’t enough to redeem him. Who knew a cartoon character could have a face you’d just love to slap?
