10 Most Horrific Moments In Doctor Who

1. The Killing Of The Campers - Stones Of Blood (1978)

Imagine you and your honey have decided to go camping. You come out of your tent later that night, where you've had a bit of the ol' in-and-out, and there in the middle of your campground is a tall stone, looking like it came straight from a henge. Your honey comes out, asks where they came from, and then casually puts her hand on it - only to discover she can't take it away. You try to help her pull her hand away, and as you do so, you see the stone start to glow and pulsate, while a deep throbbing sound like a heartbeat begins. You look down to find that your honey's hand is melting away, leaving nothing but the bone, and now you can't pull away either. As you scream in agony, you feel your body being absorbed and realize that both you and your honey are being eaten alive...by a stone. A stone that feeds on blood - and everything else, apparently. Welcome to Stones of Blood Episode Three, and the beginning of a lifetime of nightmares. Hey, at least we includes some bloodsuckers on the list after all, right? Let us know in the comments what else you think should have been included on this list - and Happy Halloween!
