3. "I Got Off The Plane" (The Last One)
It's no understatement to say that Ross and Rachel's stop and start relationship became the absolute blueprint for on-again/off-again sitcom romances. They seemed perfect for each other, but misunderstandings, failure to communicate and, well, "breaks" ended up keeping them apart.
When it came to the show's final episode, it was clear that they'd need to answer the question finally, will they ever get together? Thankfully, they did answer it, and in spectacular fashion.
The final episode saw Rachel on her way to Paris, with Ross enlisting the help of Phoebe to catch her before she left and lay his feelings out for her. This romantic gesture seemed like a cliched but nice ending, but after Ross caught her, Rachel left anyway.
A dejected Ross made his way home, only to find a voicemail from Rachel, telling him that she loves him too, and the sounds of her trying to get off the plane. It seemed that she failed, but then we heard those iconic words, "I got off the plane", and Ross turned to see her there.
It quickly brought a tear to the eye of everyone watching and acted as the perfect ending for their once-in-a-lifetime love story.
