10 Most Iconic Weapons In Game Of Thrones

7. Joffrey's Crossbow

Joffrey was a naughty little boy. It's an understatement akin to claiming 'Hitler had no chill'. King Joff is one of modern TV's greatest villains for a whole host of reasons ranging from his rampant lust for blood to the fact that he was still a child at heart, albeit a murderous brat kid. The crossbow was the wooden embodiment of Joffrey's attitude towards killing. He could stand back in the shadows and one nonchalant flick of a finger could let the weapon do all of the dirty work and end a life. Ilyn Payne and The Hound were two examples of him using others to do his bidding, but the crossbow was his closest companion when it came to his sadistic entertainment. It was scenes like this one that justified the collective, worldwide whooping and cheering as his head nearly exploded with poison.
