10 Most Irredeemably Evil Villains In TV History

5. Eric Cartman - South Park

Ramsay Bolton Game Of Thrones
Comedy Central

The most popular character in Matt Stone and Trey Parker's long-running animated series is also by far its most despicable. Eric Theodore Cartman may be hilarious, but he's also spoiled, arrogant, lazy, narcissistic, manipulative and prejudiced. Although he's "friends" with Stan, Kyle, and Kenny, he holds no real affection for any of them and it's his actions that frequently land the group in the most trouble.

As the show progressed, Cartman's behaviour evolved into full-on psychopathy, and he was depicted as an evil genius of sorts. In some instances we're given the impression that he regrets his actions and is looking for redemption, but it's never genuine.

Probably the most extreme example of Cartman's villainy occurred in the episode, "Scott Tenorman Must Die". In order to get revenge on an older student, Eric arranges for the boy's parents to be killed before chopping them up and feeding them to him in a chilli. As Scott weeps, Cartman licks the "tears of unfathomable sadness" from his face.

Yeah, you get the idea.
