10 Most Ludicrous Things To Ever Happen On 24

In every season of 24 there can be so many hectic things happening at once, it would make sense for some of the characters to have their own side-adventures amongst the main overarching chaos. For Kim (Elisha Cuthbert); Jack's daughter served her purpose in the first season, and the show's writers weren't sure where to go with her next.

Kim's day starts out like any other normal day; she abducts a child from an abusive parent, she and her kung-fu fighting music producer boyfriend break said child out of hospital, they're framed for the murder of the child's mother, they set fire to a police truck causing it to crash - at which point her boyfriend is trapped in the wreckage, leaving Kim to fend for herself in the Californian wilderness. After narrowly avoiding a cougar, she's is taken in by a reclusive Ted Kazinsky-like figure and just avoids becoming his "girlfriend", before returning to civilisation and only to get held up in a gas station robbery.

Did I mention that while this is happening, she thinks her dad is dead?

As if things can't get any worse, Kim cycles through the emotions of grief only to learn her dad is in fact alive. And to put a cherry on top, the father of the girl she abducted comes back on the scene and Kim is forced to fend for her life like she's in a home invasion film.

And I cannot stress this enough - this happens alongside a nuclear bomb threat!
