10 Most Messed Up Twin Peaks Moments

The Fire Walk With Me prequel movie saw a decidedly heroic Laura Palmer fight against evil forces beyond human understanding, which led to her eventual death. The movie depicted her as a tough heroine, but ultimately, as we all know, it was a losing battle.

As intense as Fire Walk With Me was, there were few scenes as unpleasant as the one set in Laura's bedroom. Whilst giving way to her spiralling cocaine habit, she is visited by the malevolent Bob. In her drug-fuelled stupor, compounding years of harrowing abuse that had warped per perception of desire, Laura willingly accepts Bob into a twisted act of love...

This was weird enough, but not the worst part. The worst part was that it wasn't Bob at all, but her own father, Leland, who was possessed by the denim wearing monster, who sought to bring irreparable despair over the entire Palmer family.

Seasoned fans of the original series would have had prior knowledge of this event taking place, but against our will, the movie filled the gap in viewers' imaginations. Unfortunately, it can't be unseen.
