Known to UK audiences as the Inbetweeners’ fearsome head of sixth form Mr. Gilbert, it’s more than appropriate for one of Greg Davies’s most embarrassing stories to involve his time as a schoolteacher.

After visiting his mother one weekend and having her do his laundry, Greg decided to go out and get extremely drunk. As is standard with many wild nights out, he decided to finish this all off with a large and probably overpriced curry.

The only problem was that he was teaching the next day and so, thanks to the combination of beer and curry, suddenly had to dash to the toilet in the middle of a lesson to relieve himself. Here he discovered that he had mistakenly put on his mum’s underwear and began loudly cursing himself out for being such an idiot.

Upon returning to the classroom, Greg realised that one of the deaf children in the class had heard the whole thing, thanks to a microphone that Mr. Davies had pinned to his shirt the entire time.

No doubt that child learned lots of new words that day. Who says that school doesn’t teach you anything?
