The premise regarding the ninth season of the series, 1984, said it wouldn't connect with the other seasons. But we're talking about Ryan Murphy, who already said in the beginning that the seasons wouldn't be connected between them. So we couldn't help but be a little doubtful of this statement.

And of course, as many of us imagined, it turned out that it was connected to the previous seasons. Although the connection isn't as direct as in the case of Coven and Apocalypse, it still exists. We can see these with some characters and story points, although we've to admit that Murphy saw that they were vague enough.

The proof of this connection is seen on numerous occasions, somewhat hidden but still very present. One of the most notable is when Margaret Booth, our serial killer on duty, begins to use her newly acquired fortune. Booth begins buying up various properties that are said to be haunted, including the iconic Briarcliff Hospital. The mere mention of the place was enough for more than one viewer to press the pause button.

It's still unclear what her plan was for all those properties, and since Margaret doesn't make it out of Camp Redwood unscathed, it looks like we'll have to wait and see what her whole plan was with these properties. And knowing Ryan Murphy, we're sure to find out sooner or later.
