10 Most Paused American Horror Story Moments

There aren't many moments in American Horror Story that have been paused for positive reasons. However, in the eighth season, Apocalypse, we find two of them. One of these is when the witches from Madame Robicheaux's Academy first appear.

To get a little context here, the show's eighth season is hell, literally. Here the world has faced an apocalypse. Only people secluded in bunkers have survived. To make matters worse, since the world becoming a wasteland isn't enough, Lucifer's son appears on the scene to mess with everyone a little.

Our main villain is Michael Langdon, a.k.a. The Son of Lucifer. He came prepared to end what little is left of the world, and there's no one to stop him. However, our favourite coven has also survived and come to defend the world from the hands of the devil.

When they first appeared wearing their trademark highly-stylized black dresses, many fans let out a cry of both surprise and relief. There may not be many moments in this series where we pause to celebrate, but this one truly deserves it.
