We had already mentioned that the eighth season of the series, Apocalypse, brought with it more than one moment worth pausing. And through the whole series, this is one of the most deserving of it.

Jessica Lange has been the outstanding star of this series. Her characters are so iconic, and her interpretation of each one of them is almost perfect. Therefore, when she was absent in some of the seasons, we could notice the gap that she left. However, her return to her series was worthy of a star like her.

The best part about it is that we see her as her first character, Constance Langdon, the protector of the Montgomery house ghosts. Her appearance was totally unexpected and was a moment of incredible surprise for all fans of the series.

While it was clear that Murder House was entering the crossover season, Constance's return was an epic turn for the season. And Lange nails this role like the first time, even after almost ten years. Proving that the absent seasons hadn't affected the power of her performance at all.
