10 Most Paused Doctor Who Moments

8. The Memory TARDIS (Empire Of Death)

By its very nature, the Memory TARDIS is crammed full of references to Doctor Who's past. Lovingly designed for both Tales of the TARDIS and the Season 1 finale, the whole point is that it's a TARDIS... made of memories. Clue's in the name!

While there are some clearly-visible props and costumes like the ones used to comfort Mel (hello the Seventh Doctor's question mark pullover and the Sixth Doctor's coat and necktie) along with the various familiar roundels adorning the walls, there are also tons of others that are easy to miss.

Ellie had to make an entire 22-minute video because there were so many of them, and there were still likely a couple of others tucked away in the corners!

So take it from us, a lot of pausing was required to rack up those 80+ easter eggs and references, and fans across the world would have no doubt been doing the same.

Sneaky Memory TARDIS props that you only notice when pausing and scrutinising include K9's decapitated head (bit grim), the box which may or may not still contain Dorium Maldovar's decapitated head (sensing a bit of a theme here), and a copy of Verity Newman's A Journal of Impossible Things.
