First appearing at the party in Ricksy Business and then becoming a semi-regular character, Bird Person gives some great insight into Rick's past.

It turns out that Rick and BP went back even further than we fought and are essentially old war buddies. More than that, Rick considers BP his best friend, which is odd given Rick's general dislike towards most people.

Unfortunately, BP met a grizzly end when his bride to be, Tammy, turned out to be an undercover Galactic Federation agent. This left Rick, and fans, heartbroken seeing the majestic bird man blasted to smithereens.

However, in The Rickshank Rickdemption, it turned out that BP was kept somewhat intact and reanimated into a twisted cyborg version dubbed Phoenix Person.

Fans were quick to pause to either get a good look at the awesome new design or out of shock for seeing BP's new twisted but awesome form.
