Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 3, Episode 8

You know why this is here, you horny devils!

The Next Generation's third season episode The Price features a scene that has become infamous. After falling for another Betazoid, Troi begins to slack in her duties. This spills into her free time, including her aerobics session with Beverly. The scene takes place in a blocked off corridor and, other than giving the two actors a good stretch, there is very little reason for it to exist at all!

Gates McFadden is a trained choreographer, so it is possible that she suggested a good stretch out for everyone during the course of filming. This warm up and warm down has now made it into the episode and into Star Trek history. Even now, more than thirty years later it remains one of the most paused scenes in the show.

It doesn't hurt that it was remastered for BluRay either.

Looking good!
