10 Most Rewatchable Horror TV Shows

No show on this list is more fun, more wacky or more gory than Ash vs Evil Dead. A sequel series to the popular cult Evil Dead trilogy, fans could not believe it when we finally learned that Bruce Campbell would once again be strapping on the chainsaw and loading up his boomstick to play Ash Williams, let alone that we would get three whole seasons of it.

Let’s call a spade a spade here; Ash vs Evil Dead is not a show that’s ever going to be put on a pedestal for best dramas. It’s not a show with overly smart scripts or trend-setting direction. What it is, more than almost any show made in the last ten years, is pure unadulterated horror-fan fun.

Though literal decades have passed since Bruce last played Ash, the guy has not missed a beat. The character is still charming, idiotic and uproariously fun to watch. The show’s tripping point could have been the introduction of two sidekicks; Pablo and Kelly, after all Bruce spends an awful lot of the original trilogies run time as the sole presence on screen. There was a good chance that adding in new characters would disrupt the show all together but amazingly Pablo and Kelly were both fantastic additions to the mythos.

Ash vs Evil Dead is the sort of show you can rewatch over and over without getting bored. It’s a good time every time, and now it has been added to Netflix, there’s more chance than ever of seeing it.
