10 Most Shocking Hannibal Moments

There was no hiding that this was coming from the moment she stepped into Hannibal's house of horrors, but that didn't make the brutal death of Katz any less painful.

The thing that's so shocking about this moment isn't the death itself, but the state of her body when she's found. Katz was a great, easy to love character, and having to see what Hannibal did to her was enough to knock any viewer right on their ass.

Hannibal is the kind of show where you think nothing can surprise you, but time and time again it pulls the rug right out from under its audience. She deserved so much better than being turned into some crude science display.

This is debatably the series at its absolute cruelest. Bad things happen to good people all the time in Hannibal, but this felt like something else entirely.
