Most of us have been afraid of the dark at one point in our lives, but this Doctor Who episode brings that fear up to 11. Arriving on what The Doctor and Donna thought was a barren planet, they quickly learn that the mysterious Vashta Nerada infests the planet-sized library, a parasite that hides in the shadows and attacks in swarms. Not to mention the creepy statues with real human faces on them will defiantly send a shiver or two down your spine.

Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead seamlessly combines two separate plot lines, one with the Doctor and the help of a group of archaeologists investigating what happened to all the people in the planet-sized library, and the other following Donna living a seemingly very unsettling apple-pie life. These episodes mix adventure with horror perfectly, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats as they watch their heroes fight to save 4022 people, all while running away from the dark.

The mysterious River Song is introduced in Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, a woman who claims to know the Doctor in the future, and what happens to be their final ever meeting.
