10 Must-See Previous Roles From New Twin Peaks Residents

9. Tom Sizemore – Detective Jack Scagnetti, Natural Born Killers

Jack Scagnetti True ROmance

Sizemore, a talented character actor marginalised following a very public battle with addiction, can play honourable, as he did at the turn of the millennium in a spate of war movies, but we suspect his return to prominence will see him hark back to the type of role which got him there in the first place – dark, seedy and violent.

While the film itself hasn’t aged particularly well, Sizemore’s frightening performance has stood the test of time; veering across the Lynchian spectrum of menace, he is both unhinged a la Willem Dafoe's Bobby Peru in Wild At Heart in the drug store arrest sequence, and as tightly-coiled as Grace Zabriskie's Visitor #1 in INLAND EMPIRE when making sickening overtures to Juliette Lewis' jailed Mallory Knox.

Famed for his intensity, Sizemore, like Knepper before him, seems to belong perfectly to the darker reaches of the Lynchverse.
