Remember when we were all wondering when Matthew Perry was going to make his triumphant return to the small screen? Well, that came and went with Go On, his comedy that didn't exactly win over audiences or critics. But he's got another chance to impress, and that's with a project that's been crying out to be remade for many years now: The Odd Couple. Surprisingly, Perry will be playing the slovenly Oscar, despite the fact that his neurotic persona is a large part of why people like him. But it will be interesting to see him playing somewhat against type, and we have complete faith in his costar, Thomas Lennon, to be perfect as his uptight, neat freak roommate Felix. Honestly, the most appealing aspect of the show is the idea of these two actors playing off each other -- which is really the way it should be with The Odd Couple, following in the footsteps of the magnificent chemistry between Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, and later Jack Klugman and Tony Randall.
