10 Questions About The X-Men TV Show

10. Is It Actually Going To Be X-Factor?

Right now the direction Fox are rumoured to be going with their live-action X-Men show will totally avoid the Westchester Xavier School For Gifted Youngsters, which will help with any pesky continuity concerns or to make sure the producers never have to stump up for the cash for cameos by the lead actors in the X-Men films. Yes, instead of going with the usual X-Men set up €“ mutant kids at their mutant school being sent on missions by Professor X, who is almost definitely failing in his duty of care €“ the TV show is apparently going to take its cues from the recent X-Factor comic book. Which just got cancelled. Not a sign of its quality, mind. The X-Factor comic's actually pretty good. Focusing on the Multiple Man, who can create sentient copies of himself (he's supposedly going to be the star in the series too), the comic was about a mutant detective agency. Crime show with superpowers? Sold! Might need a different name...
