Not to be outdone by Netflix, Hulu are the latest streaming service to get in on the Marvel superhero action with the teen-focused Runaways. Centred on a diverse group of teenagers who band together against their supervillain parents, it promises to be a fresh spin on everything we've seen so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

And, yes, it is technically a part of the MCU, meaning the TV branch now stretches across 3 different networks - but how exactly will it connect? On the matter, Jeph Loeb said:

"It all lives in the same world. How and where it's connected and what it's going to be connected to remains to be seen ... It lives in a world of if you're a teenager … since it's all connected through social media and its own way, would you be following Iron Man or somebody that was more your age? The fact that they've found each other and are going through this mystery together is what they're concerned about, not what Captain America is doing on a Friday night.
"You'll see things that comment on each other; we try to touch base wherever we can ... It's being aware of it and trying to find a way for it to be able to discuss in a way that makes sense."

People would definitely be following Iron Man and Captain America on social media, but aside from that it sounds like the connections will be more subtle, so it'll be intriguing to see how it fits into this shared universe.
